Studio Report
September Sights and Sounds

The Coal Miner's Daughter and Seventeen Grand were busy in July with two television projects, including recording voice-overs fro the animated series created by Mike Judge. Ms. Lynn is providing the voice of Hank's mother, Tilly! I can't wait to hear it! You may recall that another country legend, the late Tammy Wynette, was the original voice of Tilly. Another project was a vocal overdub for the HBO animated series, "Happily Ever After," in which Loretta recorded the song "Gourmet Slop" which will be featured in the upcoming "Three Little Pigs" episode. Jake Niceley; co-owner of Seventeen Grand and engineer for both projects said "It was a pleasure working with Loretta; she is a consummate professional. Tilly is a recurring role, so I'm looking forward to working with Loretta again." Both projects were done in Studio 2, on the Euphonix CS3000 console.
